After his father, George, accused FC Bayern Munich of “dirty lies”, David Alaba himself now speaks about the case of the poker contract.
“I would like my contractual situation not to be clarified in public. Therefore, some statements and reports in recent weeks have surprised me and have also hurt me,” explains the ÖFB star in the “Bild” and continues:
“Many things that are being written and said at the moment are simply not correct and do not correspond to the truth. I would like to spare everyone involved a public discussion, even if all the details are not known.”
Like his father, the Viennese reacted to the latest statements by former Bayern manager Uli Hoeneß, who had said in the “Sport1 double pass”, among other things, that Alaba Pini Zahavi’s advisor was a “greedy piranha “and a contract extension, which expired in 2021. so far would fail due to different salary expectations.
Alaba himself wants “a quick solution so that the club, those responsible, my teammates, but also the fans know what their position is.”
Praise: “Not just any club”
Alaba emphasizes once again how much Bayern means to him.
“This club is not just any club for me, it is my home, my family and my home. I have been wearing the legendary red shirt for twelve years, and I did it every day with dedication, pride and passion, and I still do it,” he confirms the 28-year-old.
The good of the association would be above all things.
Fights are still normal within the family
It is interesting to note that in a family you might well disagree: “You could argue, but it always stays within the family. I will continue to pay attention to that.”
Obviously, FC Bayern have taken this very seriously in recent days.
