44 year old breaks his ankle

Rescuers from the Marktschellenberg mountain rescue service, the crew of the Traunstein rescue helicopter “Christoph 14” and the Berchtesgaden Red Cross ground rescue service rescued a 44-year-old Austrian who had broken his ankle right when descending from Toni-Lenz’s hut.
When the emergency call was received around 9:20 am, the Traunstein control center fired the Bergwacht Marktschellenberg and the “Christoph 14”. The helicopter crew found the scene far below the cabin and allowed the mountain rescuer and ambulance to disembark on the scene of the accident while floating. As rescuers descended on the patient and cared for him, the helicopter brought another mountain rescuer with an aerial rescue bag from the valley landing site to the crash site and then waited in the intermediate landing area above the Toni hut. -Lenz.

Then “Christoph 14” took the patient in bed with the emergency doctor to the valley; With an ambulance from the Berchtesgaden Red Cross we went from there to the accident hospital in Salzburg.
