Vienna remains yellow, Innsbruck will be yellow and Linz will be green again.

Vienna Despite the growing number of cases, the Corona traffic light commission has not made a recommendation for the color orange. Vienna is still as yellow as Graz and the Kufstein district. Innsbruck-Stadt and Schwaz have been added in Tyrol, as well as the Lower Austrian districts of Korneuburg and Wiener Neustadt, as the APA learned from the commission.

Linz, on the other hand, will turn green again, so the recommendation. The Freistadt district, which has a large number of cases due to a group around a mosque, is also green.

In return, the insistence of Chancellor Sebastian Kurz (ÖVP) (and more recently the Vienna city government) to toughen the measures again as a whole has apparently been granted. All events in Austria must be placed on the yellow tier. This means 2,500 indoor spaces (100 without allocated spaces) and 5,000 outdoor spaces are possible. In addition, the requirement for masks will be expanded outside of the grocery trade and in pharmacies and banks in closed rooms throughout Austria.

Details will be released at a press conference tomorrow.
