The jury withdrew to deliberate Tuesday afternoon. The verdict was unanimous (8.0 lay judge votes): life imprisonment plus placement in an institution for mentally abnormal lawbreakers. But attorney Wolfgang Blaschitz immediately filed an annulment complaint and an appeal, so it is not legally binding.
