The Wiener Linien apparently wants to get involved in the election campaign. On Monday, the SPÖ-led company from the federal capital tweeted a photo with FPÖ chief Dominik Nepp, who is standing on the platform of a U6 station without protection for his mouth and nose. “The mask requirement applies to everyone: who can give us information about the identity of this one who rejects the MNS?” Nepp was not very amused.
The photo copied from a newspaper report was supplemented by Wiener Linien with the note “It costs 50 euros”. In Vienna, users of public transport must wear mouth and nose protection not only in the vehicles themselves, but also in the station area. A penalty is applied for infractions.
The Wiener Linien as a platform organization of the SPÖ. Ulli Sima’s political mandate? It should deal with the constant riots and chaos of public transport instead of acting politically!

Wiener Linien: Dominik Nepp doesn’t have much fun
Nepp responded by describing Wiener Linien in a separate publication as the “apron organization of the SPÖ”. “It should take care of the constant disruptions and chaos of public transport instead of acting politically,” said the blue top candidate. A new parliament will be elected in Vienna on October 11. The FPÖ is campaigning, among other things, with posters showing the mayor of the SPÖ running again in opposition to Nepp.
