Weer – There was a serious accident on Sunday afternoon in Weer. Around 10:20 a.m., an ambulance was heading to an emergency on Tiroler Straße, with flashing lights and a horn. A car passed directly in front of the car, driven by a woman from Schwaz (45). There were three paramedics in the ambulance.

The ambulance driver (24) passed the car on the left on an island of traffic. At this same moment, the 45-year-old man turned left onto a local road, although police said it was prohibited there and signs were posted. There was a right-angle collision between the two vehicles. The ambulance hit the left side of the car, the car was thrown into a ditch and collided with a traffic sign. The ambulance stopped 30 meters away.

Firefighters had to rescue the woman from the car. She was taken to the Innsbruck clinic, her condition is unknown. A 22-year-old paramedic was also injured and taken to Hospital Hall. It is not clear how it goes. Both vehicles were destroyed. There were 21 emergency services from the Weer volunteer fire brigade, the rescue team and a police patrol. (TT.com)
