In Austria, 358 new cases of corona have been registered in the last 24 hours, reports the Interior Ministry in a broadcast. Four new cases were added in Salzburg.
As of Saturday morning, 735 people in Austria had died as a result of the coronavirus, 24,828 have recovered. There are currently 157 people in hospital treatment and 28 of them in intensive care units.
Coronavirus: 206 new cases in Vienna alone
The new infections are divided among the federal states as follows:
- Burgenland: 6
- Carinthia: 2
- Lower Austria: 30
- Upper Austria: 44
- Salzburg: 4
- Steiermark: 14
- Tyrol: 38
- Vorarlberg: 14
- Vienna: 206
