The new term also applies to the contracts of assistant coaches Christian Peintinger and Armin Reutershahn. In the summer of 2018, Hütter switched from Swiss champion Young Boys Bern to Eintracht. The following season, the 50-year-old led Hessen to the semi-finals of the Europa League. Last season, the Frankfurters reached the semi-finals of the DFB Cup. “In the last two years we have achieved a lot together here. I am incredibly happy to be here in this wonderful city of Frankfurt with Eintracht and we would like to drive this positive development even further,” said Hütter.
