In October, Christian Trinkl was promoted to editor-in-chief of the Lower Austrian district newspapers and took over the editorial management of a total of 29 local newspaper editions of the Lower Austrian district newspapers. Christian Trinkl (40) started in 2006 as an editorial assistant for the local St. Pölten and Lilienfeld editions, before Melk became “his district” in 2007. In 2011 he was the first editorial coordinator to take over editorial control of Mostviertel and in 2014 he was voted “Local Journalist of the Year” by the industry magazine “Der Österreichische Journalist”. In 2018, Christian Trinkl was promoted to Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Lower Austria District Gazette. He is also an active coach for RMA’s in-house academy. His appointment as editor-in-chief is the constant continuation of his successful career with the company.
