On Monday night, a child in Vienna-Penzing was hit by a car and dragged for a short time. Then, according to the driver, he jumped out and ran away with two young men.

On August 31, there was a traffic accident in Vienna-Penzing in which a car struck a pedestrian who was believed to be a minor.

The 62-year-old driver stated that he had left the city on Hütteldorfer Straße around 7.15pm when suddenly three people, probably two young people and a minor child, ran into the lane between the parked vehicles. There was a collision with the child.

The boy likely got under the vehicle and, according to the 62-year-old man, was briefly dragged away. Then he jumped up and ran away with the other two.

The search for the boy started immediately was unsuccessful. Officers secured a children’s blue athletic shoe at the crash site.
