A total of 2,638 million followed the “Summer Talks” 2020

Vienna (OTS) Up to 1,022 million viewers followed Simone Stribl’s ORF “Summer Talk” with Sebastian Kurz yesterday, Monday, August 31, 2020. Average of 898,000 (preliminary weighting) with 29 percent market share via ORF 2 they were there. Up to 957,000 saw the next “ZIB 2”.

Traditional roundtables reached a total of 2.638 million Austrians (the widest circle of viewers), corresponding to 35.0 per cent of the national television population aged 12 and over. “Summer Talks” is also used intensively online

According to online video metering, ORF’s “Summer Talks” also attracted great public interest online: Live broadcasts and video-on-demand offerings from Summer Talks (used through Monday, August 31 inclusive) were successful. a total of 177,000 net visits in Austria (related usage processes) and over 1 million gross views (recorded video starts). In all, the total usage volume was 4.1 million minutes so far. The average reach of “summer talks” so far was 16,000 by number. The data on yesterday’s “Summer Talk” with Sebastian Kurz / ÖVP currently only includes the live stream and VoD views from last night. All Summer Talks will remain available as video on demand on ORF TVthek until September 7.

The “Summer Talks” 2020 on social networks

This year’s “Summer Talks” on social media were very well used: on Instagram, SOGE’s videos achieved an average of around 140,000 views (3 seconds). There were 125,000 views (3 seconds) on Facebook. Additionally, since the beginning of the chats in early August, there have also been regular Insta stories from Simone Stribl, who provided behind-the-scenes information about the show and in this way also answered questions from users. These stories averaged around 100,000 views.
