Fraudulent phishing emails with attachments claiming to come from the Public Employment Service (AMS) with images and real-looking text parts are currently circulating. Most of the emails are about short-term work and its billing. However, it cannot be ruled out that the emails also relate to other areas and activities of the AMS.

The trust-inspiring impression and attachment name are intended to induce clicks so that criminals can access the end device and user data. AMS requests that the emails be deleted immediately. In case of doubt, the responsible advisor should be consulted.
