A car driver was traveling on the Westautobahn (A1) at speeds of up to 235 km / h on Saturday. The 26-year-old still has a trial driver’s license.

A 26-year-old Russian from the Schwaz district in Tyrol drove his Jaguar down the Westautobahn (A1) towards Vienna around 11:40 a.m. At the Sipbachzell level (Wels-Land district), the driver finally caught a civil patrol due to his unusual driving style.

During the night trip, the young man was finally measured at a speed of 235 km / h. In addition, the 26-year-old passed several times on the right and thus endangered other road users, reports the Upper Austrian police.

The 26-year-old still had a trial driver’s license.

Police immediately took the initiative and stopped the speeder in the Allhaming parking lot in the Linz-Land district. In a traffic control it turned out that the 26-year-old still had a test driver’s license. According to “ORF”, he had never converted this into a permanent driver’s license due to some crimes.

The Russian’s driver’s license was confiscated on the spot and the man was denounced several times. The competent authority must now decide whether to retrieve each note.
