After Saturday’s record rise, crown numbers are falling again.
So far 27,166 positive results have been obtained in Austria. As of today (August 30, 2020, 9:30 a.m.), 733 people in Austria have died from the consequences of the coronavirus and 23,070 have recovered. Currently, 140 people are in hospital treatment due to the coronavirus and 30 of them are in intensive care units.
The new infections are divided between the federal states of Austria as follows:

Carinthia: 0
Lower Austria: 40
Upper Austria: 19
Salzburg: 10
Steiermark: 20
Tyrol: 33
Vorarlberg: 3
Vienna: 51
51 new cases in Vienna
In Vienna there were 51 new confirmed SARS-CoV-2 infections in 24 hours, according to figures from the state medical directorate and the medical crisis team. As of Sunday (August 30, 8 am), 7,828 positive tests have been confirmed so far in Vienna. The day before, the official authorities had reported 7,777 cases.
So far, 210 people have died in connection with Covid-19 in the federal capital. This number was unchanged
