Major fire prevented in the last minute

Peterskirchen.

At the last minute, on Saturday night, a large fire was prevented on a farm in Peterskirchen (Ried im Innkreis district).

Several people were busy doing farm work in a hay store that night when they noticed a fire. Thanks to the rapid intervention and alertness of the firefighters, a large fire was avoided at the last minute. When the first fire brigade forces arrived, there was a fire in the hay store around a tractor and a straw baler. The fire was quickly contained and the equipment was taken out of the farm building. The entire area around the fire source was then cleaned and checked with a thermal imaging camera. A total of four fire brigades were on duty.

No one was injured.
