Inseparable since the 1960s
The magician duo had been together for over five decades and bewitched the world with their performances. They worked hard with white tigers and became big names in the American metropolis of Las Vegas. I had already made a decision about the burial: Roy was burned: “His urn remains with me. I put it in our chapel. We discussed it throughout our lives. Roy never buried his mother Johanna’s urn and that of our deceased animals leaving, but the kept in his room. “
Shortly before Roy’s death, the two were able to say goodbye through a window in the hospital. Siegfried had seen that it was time for Roy to leave. She could have thanked Roy for “a fairy tale life” and wanted to try to live happily after all. On June 13, Siegfried’s 81st birthday, there will be a commemoration in the chapel with all current and former employees, he explains.
