The tourist attractions of Salzburg AG will gradually resume operations on Sunday. The start of Mother’s Day on May 10 is the boat trip on Lake Wolfgang, which, however, only runs on this day with two boats and according to a special schedule.
The preseason begins on May 15 with scheduled daily trips. For security reasons, the number of passengers per boat is very limited.
Trains at the Schafberg and the fortress go back to work
The rack railway to Schafberg and the fort railway in the state capital are due to start the new season on May 29. The Mönchsberg elevator in the city of Salzburg, only available to residents of the city’s mountain during the time of exit restrictions, increased the frequency and time of operation from May 15. Boat passengers and guests at other attractions must wear their own mouth and nose protection.
