Crown numbers in Austria continue to increase dramatically. 869 new infections were reported on Saturday, 444 of them in Vienna alone.
444 new cases in Vienna
As of Saturday, September 12, 2020 at 8 a.m., 10,655 positive tests have been confirmed in Vienna. The number of deaths related to the virus is 229. Two women (77 and 81 years, respectively) and a man (77 years) died. 7,410 people have recovered.
Yesterday 6,803 crown tests were carried out in Vienna, making a total of 359,186 tests.

135 new corona infections in Lower Austria
The number of confirmed coronavirus infections in Lower Austria increased by 135 to 4,692 on Saturday morning compared to the previous day. According to state medical personnel, 4,010 people were considered recovered, which corresponds to an increase of 30 compared to Friday. So far, 109 deaths related to Covid-19 diseases have been reported in the state.
There are currently 573 sick patients. The total number of tests carried out so far in Lower Austria was 226,050.
590 infected people in Tyrol
As of Saturday morning, 590 people were infected with the corona virus in Tyrol. The number of infected people has increased by 24 since Friday night.
The state capital Innsbruck, which is classified as yellow, continued to have the highest number of infected people with 205. The traffic light is also yellow in the Kufstein district with 127, in the Innsbruck Land district with 124 and in the district of Schwaz with 58 infected people.
On Friday, the state of Tyrol issued a public appeal after several positive test results from three people who had visited the inn “Goldener Engl” in Hall in Tyrol on September 4 between 20:00 and 22:00 . All people who visited the restaurant during this period should pay attention to their health. If symptoms such as cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, runny nose or sudden loss of sense of taste and smell occur, the health hotline “1450” should be contacted immediately.
6 new cases in Carinthia
Six new infections were reported in Carinthia on Saturday. Three in the Feldkirchen district, one in each of the Klagenfurt-Land, Spittal and Wolfsberg districts. This means that 39 people in Carinthia are currently infected with the coronavirus, the total number since the outbreak of the pandemic is 688.
