70 new infections since midnight – coronavirus –

In Vorarlberg, 70 people have tested positive for the coronavirus since midnight on Wednesday, 134 people have been declared recovered.

The number of actively infected people dropped from 64 to 3,159 (at 12 noon). After four people died on Wednesday as a result of the coronavirus, the number of deaths from Covid is currently 105.

Of the 79 intensive care beds available in the country, 35, one less than on Wednesday, were occupied by patients with a crown. In addition, 19 non-Covid patients receive intensive care. As a result, 25 intensive care beds were still available for all patient groups on Thursday. A total of 170 corona patients were treated in hospitals, four less than the previous day.

There was a new relaxation in the number of infected hospital employees: 82 (minus 9) were infected with the corona virus, another 44 employees were in quarantine, which was one more than the previous day.

At midnight on Wednesday, there were 13 municipalities in Vorarlberg with more than 50 actively infected. In nine municipalities, the number of cases far exceeded 100, the city of Dornbirn (372) was still the first, followed by Feldkirch (268), Bregenz (265) and Lustenau (184). About two-thirds of all active coronavirus infections in Vorarlberg were distributed among these 13 communities. Five of the 96 municipalities in Vorarlberg were free of the corona virus.

In a district comparison, Bregenz still leads with 1,039 corona-positive cases, followed by Feldkirch (889), Dornbirn (726) and Bludenz (453).
