Lower Austria has overtaken Vienna in terms of new infections.

There were 563 new infections in the 24 hours from Sunday to Monday in Austria. Most of the cases were in Lower Austria, closely followed by Vienna.
In the last 24 hours, 563 new coronavirus infections were recorded in Austria. On Monday, Lower Austria was again ahead of the state of Vienna, which recorded 172 new infections for the first time. Experience has shown that the numbers are always lower on weekends than during the week.
364 people in the hospital
As of today (September 21, 2020, 9:30 am), 767 people in Austria have died from the consequences of the corona virus and 29,516 have recovered. Currently, 364 people are in hospital treatment for the corona virus and 67 of them are in intensive care units.
