On Saturday night, around 10:45 pm, a 50-year-old man and his 19-year-old partner got into a fight outside a pub in Laakirchen. So he grabbed her by the upper arm and dragged her across the plaza to another bar. There he threatened that she would come with him, otherwise he would kill her cat. I already had the cat in the car.
During the dispute, the 19-year-old was able to take the key to her partner’s vehicle and call the police. He then returned to his car, hit the rear window with a stone, and hurt himself in the process. With the spare key in the car, he drove near his apartment. Police were able to arrest the 50-year-old man, who does not have a valid driver’s license. He was not very cooperative and aggressive, police said in a broadcast. During the investigation, he became progressively more aggressive and attacked a policeman and tried to beat him. The attacker had to be arrested for resisting state violence. When his partner was questioned, it emerged that he should have broken his thumb a week ago.
The Wels prosecutor’s office ordered the detainee to be admitted to prison and requested pretrial detention.
The 50-year-old without a driver’s license will also be reported to the district administration.
