As of Friday noon, 2,541 people from Vorarlberg were infected with the corona virus.
Since Thursday at 4 p.m., 451 new infections have been recorded in Vorarlberg, compared to 144 people recovered. As of Friday at 4 pm, 2,541 people in Vorarlberg are actively positive.
Since the pandemic began in March, 5,106 people from Vorarlberg have tested positive for the coronavirus, 2,532 of whom are considered recovered. There are currently 85 people hospitalized in Vorarlberg, 18 of them depend on intensive care.
Districts
Most of the active cases are currently in the Dornbirn district (781). They are followed by Bregenz (762), Feldkirch (664) and Bludenz (311).
Municipalities
Currently there are active corona cases in 83 of the 96 communities in Vorarlberg. Most of them in Dornbirn (381), Lustenau (269), Feldkirch (193) and Bregenz (187).
7-day incidence
The seven-day incidence, which indicates how many out of 100,000 people tested positive in the past seven days, is 389 for Vorarlberg. As of Friday 2pm, this is currently the highest value in Austria.
The seven-day incidence throughout Austria is 277 (+17).
According to AGES data, the seven-day incidence in all Vorarlberg districts is currently 317 or more. At 644.6, the Dornbirn district actually has the third highest value of all Austrian districts.
