The Salzburg state parliament is now campaigning to stop construction of the 380 kV line. A unanimous decision is made for the federal government. This should intervene with the Austrian Power Grid AG (APG) board of directors. Pending reviews in the Administrative Tribunal should be awaited.

This is communicated in a broadcast. Governor Wilfried Haslauer (ÖVP) is appealing again to halt work on the 380 kV line until the ruling of the administrative court is available, which is expected in a few weeks anyway. Or at least restrict it to absolutely necessary work and not start any new work. “I hope a decision will be made soon, because clarity is urgently needed for both operators and opponents on the line. In any case, for me it is about de-escalation and mutual cooperation. However, it is also clear that a decision of a supreme court must be respected, ”says Haslauer.
