In Lower Austria, a 37-year-old woman is said to have posed as a gynecologist and surgeon. It is said that during the examinations he drugged and robbed women. More victims are suspected.

The report of a 37-year-old man on a police inspection in Vienna led investigators from the Lower Austrian State Criminal Police Office (LKA) to a man of the same age who is said to have acted as a fake doctor in the south of the state. According to information on Tuesday, so far two victims are known. Others are suspected. The LKA (Tel .: 059133-303333) requests information in this regard, which will be treated confidentially, the State Police Directorate reported.

The 37-year-old Viennese woman reported on November 19 that she had been drugged and robbed by an unknown perpetrator. LKA robbery investigators discovered very quickly that a 37-year-old man from the Wiener Neustadt district was using the pseudonyms Dr. Prokop and Dr. Senner is said to have pretended to be a gynecologist and surgeon in order to meet women in this way. He is said to have come into contact with the Viennese woman and a 31-year-old man from southern Lower Austria since August and, according to police, he also won the women’s trust. In meetings at his home, he is said to have performed “treatments or tests.”

By partially using medical utensils, the man had falsified specialized knowledge, police said. He performed examinations in the genital area and also used an electronic endoscope. It is said that he opened the relevant instructions in a notebook through an online video platform.

According to her, it is said that the Viennese were drugged with sleeping pills and nutmeg essences at one of the meetings and a small five-figure sum of money was stolen from them. It was only after the woman was taken home that she noticed the lack of cash.

The defendant was arrested at his home late on the night of November 19 by order of the Wiener Neustadt prosecutor’s office. The stolen cash amount was insured there. The man confessed and is in custody.
