The 22-year-old woman who had to answer in court Thursday after a knife attack on her ex-partner was sentenced to 30 months in prison.
The woman is said to have stabbed her partner with a knife on April 12, 2020 in Reichraming (Steyr-Land district). He then had to answer for attempted murder in regional court in Steyr on Thursday. The woman was sentenced in the afternoon – contrary to the accusation not for attempted murder, but for serious bodily injury – to 30 months in prison, of which 10 months were unconditional. Both the prosecutor and the defense accepted the verdict, so it is now final.
