As part of a winter course, a training group climbed the Großer Priel (2,515 meters) on Thursday, including the young mountain rescuer from Vorderstoder (Kirchdorf district). Since the 27-year-old’s avalanche search device was no longer working, the search turned out to be difficult. Finally, a mountain rescue dog was able to locate one of the man’s clothes. A few meters later, they found the 27-year-old, sadly dead.
