So far there have been 83,267 positive test results in Austria. As of today (October 26, 2020, 9:30 am), 992 people in Austria have died as a result of the corona virus and 59,036 have recovered. There are currently 1,330 people in hospital treatment for the coronavirus, 188 of them in intensive care units.
The situation in Vienna
494 new cases of coronavirus were registered in Vienna from Sunday to Monday. A total of 27,674 confirmed positive tests have been reported since the outbreak of the pandemic in the federal capital, the medical crisis team announced by broadcast. There are currently 7,038 people infected.
20,322 people in whom SARS-CoV-2 was detected have already recovered. The number of deaths related to the virus has risen from one to 314 in the last 24 hours. A 77-year-old woman died.
Yesterday Sunday 6,587 crown tests were held in Vienna. The federal capital now has 596,819 tests.
