In the previous year, the Windkraft Simonsfeld Group achieved the best results in the history of the company in terms of electricity production, sales revenue and consolidated net revenue.
The 2019 business year was an excellent windy year. This is positively reflected in the electricity production, sales revenue and consolidated profit of the Windkraft Simonsfeld Group: electricity production increased by 31% compared to the previous year to 577 million kWh. The main reasons were an exceptionally good wind year and the complete operation of 13 new wind power plants built in 2018. Sales increased by 22% in 2019 to 42.9 million euros, the highest sales result in the history of the company. Overall, the Windkraft Simonsfeld Group achieved a pre-tax profit of € 10.3 million and a consolidated net profit of € 7.3 million.
Investments: 3.9 million euros in plants and projects.
In fiscal year 2019, the Windkraft Simonsfeld Group invested € 1.5 million in the completion of the wind farms in Kreuzstetten, Hipples and Dürnkrut. Around € 1.7 million was invested in current wind power projects in Poysdorf and Prinzendorf, to be built in 2021. In addition, almost three-quarters of a million euros were invested in the development of the new power plant project.
Stock price rose 82 percent over the course of the year
Windkraft Simonsfeld shares were in high demand again in the previous year. The volume of shares traded, at 2.7 million euros, was significantly higher than in previous years and was almost 70% higher than in 2018. The average share price of Windkraft Simonsfeld at the company’s trading venue increased from 192 euros in January 2019 to 349 euros in December. This corresponds to an increase of about 82% over the past year.
