After two draws in suite, Austria Klagenfurt reported Sunday with a 2-1 home win over Austria Lustenau in the 2nd division promotion race. After ten rounds, the Carinthians (20 points) are five points behind Lafnitz in third place, leader Liefering, who is not eligible for promotion, is six points behind. Lustenau missed the third consecutive victory, as well as the jump to sixth place and is eighth with 15 points.

A solid long-range shot from Patrick Greil put the hosts ahead from the first minute, but they couldn’t continue. Lustenau made his way into the game better and, thanks to Haris Tabakovic, tied before the break (34th). However, Benjamin Hadzic (53.) restored Klagenfurt’s lead shortly after the restart, and coach Robert Micheu’s team posted their fifth home win in their sixth game in time.
