The number of new corona infections in Austria continues to increase. On Monday, with 1,270 new cases, significantly fewer were reported than on Sunday, but the Monday numbers are always lower and the number of cases increased compared to the previous Mondays. Greater number of hospitalized patients

On Monday, with 290 new infections, the majority were in Lower Austria, 260 in Vienna, 237 in Upper Austria and 220 in Styria. Salzburg reported 65 new cases, Burgenland 61, Carinthia 58, Tirol 52 and Vorarlberg 27.
