102 complaints for violations of exit restrictions

Vienna Since the start of the second lockdown in Austria on Tuesday at midnight, the police have so far issued 102 reports of violations of exit restrictions. On Saturday evening there were 39 advertisements across Austria, most of them (19) related to Vienna. In addition, last night ten official acts were recorded for violations of the regulations in places that do not belong to the satisfaction of an immediate need for housing. There was an ad here.

Departure restrictions between 8 pm and 6 am

Exit restrictions have been in effect since Tuesday between 8 pm and 6 am During this time, the seating area can only be left to avoid dangers, care for and provide assistance to other people, cover necessary basic needs, for professional purposes and formative, as well as for physical and mental recovery. Garages, gardens and barns are not considered private living areas that are not covered by the ordinance of the Ministry of Health. That is why only groups of up to six people who come from a maximum of two different households, plus a maximum of six minor children, can meet there before 8 p.m. On Saturday night, a complaint was filed regarding the controls of non-immediate need for housing in Tyrol.

Since the start of the exit restrictions, there have been 37 reports of rapes in Vienna, followed by 13 in Lower Austria and 12 in Styria. Eleven advertisements were aired each in Upper Austria, Salzburg and Tyrol, five in Vorarlberg and two in Carinthia. Since Tuesday there have been 27 official acts throughout Austria for violations of the provisions in places that are not part of the immediate housing area. So far there have been two reports here, both were filed in Tyrol.
