On Saturday night, the girl accidentally slipped off a bench where she was training. Then a nearby horse, on a leash, kicked in shock. The 10-year-old boy was hit on the back of the head by one of the animal’s hind hooves. He died in hospital Sunday, police said.
According to the police, the accident occurred around 7:30 p.m. in a stable. The girl suffered a severe head injury from the strong impact with the shod helmet.
