0.96 per thousand blood alcohol: Lenker was drunk in an accident with two deaths in Adlwang

As reported by police on Tuesday, the blood test ordered by the Steyr prosecutor’s office to the accident driver resulted in a value of 0.96 per thousand after the accident with two deaths in Adlwang. Therefore, the driver was significantly drunk at the time of the accident.
“The driver has so far exercised his right not to testify. In addition to the allegation of gross negligence by the Steyr prosecution, the man is reported to the Steyr-Land district authority,” the police now reported later.

In the early morning of April 19, 2020, the 19-year-old from the Steyr-Land district drove the car on the Nubacher Strae towards Adlwang when he lost control of his vehicle on a straight road. The car spun around and crashed with the stern ahead after about 100 meters into a fruit tree. The consequences have been dramatic. A 20-year-old boy from the Steyr-Land district who was riding in the back of the vehicle was thrown from the car and fatally injured. The driver’s driver, a 15-year-old boy from the Kirchdorf an der Krems district, was also unable to return to life. The accident driver fainted briefly and survived with serious injuries.
