Singer August Alsina claims she had a love story with Jada Pinkett Smith, after her husband Will Smith allegedly gave his blessing to the relationship.
While Pinkett’s representatives say Alsina’s claims are “absolutely not true,” he spoke about the alleged matter in an interview with Angela Yee of “The Breakfast Club.”
He states, “I actually sat down with Will [Smith] and I had a conversation because of the transformation of their marriage into a life relationship … he gave me his blessing. “
Alsina, 27, was introduced to Pinkett, 48, in 2015 by her son Jaden. He says the two became very close, even on family vacations in Hawaii in 2016 and attended the 2017 BET Awards together.
She claims she fell in love with Pinkett, saying, “I totally gave myself up to that relationship for years of my life, and I really, really, really love and feel a lot of love for it.” I dedicated myself to it, I gave myself completely, to the point that I can die right now and agree to know that I really gave myself to someone. “
“And I really loved a person, I experienced that and I know what it feels like, and some people never understand it in this life,” Alsina continued. “I know that I am completely blessed and this conversation is difficult because it is so much that it would be difficult for people to understand, but once it begins to affect me and my livelihood, I have to speak about my truth.”
Alsina even described Pinkett as “the divinity of God” on his 47th birthday. It is unclear when her alleged adventure ended.
The interview is for Alsina’s new YouTube document “StateofEMERGEncy: The Rise of August Alsina” to promote her new album “The Product III: stateofEMERGEncy”.
During the interview, Yee asked, “Is it disappointing that she [Pinkett] Has he never addressed it to you because, as he said, he missed opportunities?
