Jada Pinkett Smith is preparing to set the record straight in an alleged affair with musician August Alsina.
Two-time Emmy nominee and husband Will Smith has since denied his claims that a four-year relationship took place with Will’s consent.
But August doubled down on her claims on Friday, when she turned to Instagram with a lengthy statement on the situation.

The 27-year-old man posted a photo of himself with radio personality Angela Yee, to whom he spoke about the matter earlier this week.
He wrote in part: ‘I get it; not only do I get it, but I also regret that you feel that way, BUT, the only attack here is against the invisible walls of social construction and the silent “code” that we place on each other and on ourselves hidden behind the wishes of the others approval and acceptance.
August continued: ‘Truth and Transparency makes us uncomfortable, yes, but I cannot apologize for that … My truth is MY truth, and it is mine. There is no right or wrong here, it just IS. “
He added: ‘My heart has no malice or hatred towards anyone on this planet. I just want to take off my chains and I’m willing to DIE to get there.

August told the Breakfast Club host during his interview that he generally would not talk about it, but that he had “lost money, friends, relationships” because of the rumors.
He said: ‘In fact, I sat down with Will and had a conversation due to the transformation of their marriage into a life relationship in which they have spoken several times and that does not involve romanticism.
“ He gave me his blessing and I gave myself totally to that relationship for years of my life and I really and really, really loved her and I have a lot of love for her. I dedicated myself to it. I gave myself up so much that to the point that I can die right now and be fine knowing that I really gave myself to someone. ”
