Samsung’s latest firmware update containing the July 2020 security patch for the Galaxy S10 series was first released exactly three weeks ago, then briefly retired from the air before Samsung resumed launch. Now, the Galaxy S10 series is finally receiving the July 2020 security patch from AT&T in the US.
Carry build number G97xU1UEU4DTF3The latest firmware update arrives on the AT&T Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10, and Galaxy S10 +, and features the July 2020 security patch that Samsung detailed earlier this month. Fixes a variety of vulnerabilities in the Android operating system, as well as 14 security issues found in Samsung’s own software. Among other things, the July 2020 security patch fixes a serious issue that can cause smartphones to stay stuck in a bootloop when using certain images for wallpapers.
The new firmware update doesn’t seem to bring any other improvements or additions to the Galaxy S10 series on the AT&T network, but you don’t want your smartphone to become useless by accidentally applying an incorrect image as wallpaper. That said, the July 2020 security patch is pretty important, and you can download it to AT&T Galaxy S10 series over the air by opening Configurations on your phone, browsing to Software update and playing Download and install.
As always, you can also check our firmware file and download the new firmware for Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10 + manually (press the link of your respective device).
