Assassin’s Creed Valhalla can run at 60fps on PS5 and Xbox Series X and S with new update

Assassin Creed Valhalla Ubisoft will be able to run at 60 fps on all next-gen consoles for the update, which is set to be released on Thursday. With the new 1.0.4 title update, Ubisoft is adding performance mode, allowing the game to maintain resolution and graphics settings at 60fps while you play, and adapting to quality mode, which will max out the resolution and graphics settings. 30 fps.

Digital Foundry Found Assassin Creed Valhalla Sometimes sinks below 60fps on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X (Series X does so often), and the game doesn’t currently run more than 30fps on the Xbox Series S, so the update seems to be a welcome improvement. The new update is also expected to address screen tearing issues in the Xbox Series X / S versions of the game.

You can see how the game now performs on all three next-gen consoles, in Digital Foundry’s video analysis:

The update also brings a number of changes, including “improved stability and performance” and some additional checkpoints in the boss fight. You can see the full list of changes on Ubisoft’s website.
