Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is getting a Valhalla-themed armor set

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey players will soon be able to pretend they’re playing Valhalla with this new set of armor.

Ubisoft is releasing a new update today for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. The patch, version 1.5.4, is between 3 and 4 GB, with only a short list of fixes.

But that won’t be the end of the new content for Odyssey, as Ubisoft revealed the new Northern Traveler’s Set. This armor set is very reminiscent of the Viking outfit seen in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. It also comes with an ornate two-handed ax, as seen in the Valhalla game. Although the developer did not spell it out, the reference is clear.

The new item pack is likely to be available in the in-game store, which means it will cost you real money to get it. Unless, of course, Ubisoft decides to make a reward for a quest or offer an alternative way for players to get it without spending money. More details about the Northern Voyager Set will be revealed soon.

As for today’s patch, it fixes a couple of various issues, mainly a bug that caused Cyclops missions not to show up for some players after patch 1.5.3. Read all the patch notes below.

  • Fixed an issue where Cyclops quests were not available to some players after Title Update 1.5.3.
  • Fixed an issue with the audio output of some of the massive stations.
  • Fixed an issue where a placeholder popup might appear when unlocking Ezio’s Roman outfit.
