Ashley Graham, one of our favorite models (and the full power of total body confidence), has shared a whole new set of totally Photoshop-free images of a swimsuit campaign and of course she looks amazing. The range is its own line in Swimsuits For All, which has the spirit of displaying ‘real’ bodies that shake the bikinis and costumes on offer, and which are inclusive.
Ashley, who gave birth to an adorable little boy named Isaac in January, is back to work and truly proudly normalizes the new stretch marks on her stomach. Speaking to PEOPLE magazine about the shooting, she said: “There is always a question of what you want us to touch up and what you want us to take out.” and I said, ‘Nothing’, except for a clamp holding the DIY background. I want everyone to genuinely know … I want people to see who I am because every body has a story. “
She went on to say that while she is known for inspiring other women to feel comfortable in her skin, it is not always easy. “That [the shoot] It looks so simple and beautiful, but powerful. I have more weight on me. I have stretch marks, and at first, I really had to have a lot of conversations with myself and say, ‘OK, new body, new mindset.’ But after this photo shoot, I felt so empowered because I said, ‘Yes. I look good. I feel good. “Amen to that, Ashley!
Captioning three photos of her (two in a super cute pink bikini, one at the bottom of the black bikini and the printed top) on Ashley, Ashley also shared with fans that she has loved her first summer as a mother.
“Some things I love: a cute swimsuit and a backyard session with the family! We had a great time making the most of this summer in Nebraska and these outfits make me feel great my first summer as a mom! “
The photographs were taken by her husband Justin Ervin, with whom she has been with for almost ten years. How charming (and we could also add … how convenient must it have been to have such a talented Insta-husband during closing?).
Shout out to Ashley for always serving her a reminder that all bodies are beautiful and that no one needs Photoshop. End of.
