Mikel Arteta praised Arsenal for facing their difficult schedule as they had a fourth consecutive victory.

Arsenal put themselves in the fight for a European final by beating aspirants Wolves 2-0.

Bukayo Saka scored his first Premier League goal just before the break, and Alexandre Lacazette scored the last goal towards the end of the second half.

The result moves Arsenal to seventh place, just three points behind their opponents. And before they prepare to face another push for Europe in Leicester, Arteta said they deserved to enjoy the moment.

Arteta said: “In every game you have no margin for error, we know that we try to win every game.

“Let’s enjoy it a little bit before we start thinking about Leicester and trying to go again.

“The race is to try to win against Leicester and let’s see what happens. We try to improve as a team.

“It is probably one of the best victories due to the difficult schedule we have had and how well it has been going all season.”

“Winning is not an easy thing to do and it is another step forward in our process and I am really happy.

“I said after Brighton[[[[a 2-1 loss]I was very happy with the effort, I never denied the effort and the intention that they were putting.

“We can’t give the opponent anything, it’s about competing for 100 minutes. Hopefully we are much better and that will give us a better chance of winning more games. “
