And Mings clearly said something to make the striker laugh, as he laughed just as the ball was thrown into the box.
The England international took advantage of the momentary distraction as an opportunity to launch himself onto the near post, put the ball forward and put Trezeguet for the winner.
The flick-on found its way to Trezeguet, who hit the ball into the net to score the only goal.
