Ariana Grande playfully reinvented one of the fattest horror movies of 2019 to celebrate her 27th birthday.
The superstar singer, whose birthday was Friday (June 26), enjoyed a MidsommarThemed party over the weekend, complete with elaborate flower wreaths and a perfectly set outdoor dining table.
“Then my friends surprised me [with] a theme … “, Grande captioned an Instagram Story photo of her beautiful bouquet of flowers with a crown.
The “Thank U, Next” singer also shared many other fun moments from the evening, including photos with her brother Frankie Grande and boyfriend Dalton Gomez. The star’s parents and other close friends were also present.
The party even caught the attention of Midsommar star Florence Pugh, who gave her her stamp of approval on Instagram.
“Mayqueeen !! Now have some mushroom tea, “Pugh captioned a video of Grande’s party Instagram story, referencing a scene from the movie.
“I love uuuuuu,” Grande replied.
Midsommar He stars as Pugh as a young girl traveling with her boyfriend to a remote Swedish village for the summer festivities that bring some gruesome results.
Last year, Grande expressed her admiration for the creepy movie on Twitter and wrote, “Do you think it’s okay for midsommar to be my favorite ATM before bed or should I get help right away.”
