Ariana Grande and her boyfriend Dalton Gomez are now Instagram officers

Ariana Grande fans received the best gift on her birthday: a snapshot on social media of Grande and her boyfriend Dalton Gómez that now makes them official on Instagram. Before her 27th birthday on June 26, the “7 Rings” singer shared an Instagram post to commemorate another year around the sun that featured selfies with her puppies. However, buried deep in the seventh slide, there is a snapshot with her new boyfriend, a luxury real estate agent with whom she has been linked since March.

Grande’s Instagram post, titled “almost 27 :),” is not the only form of documentation for her partner. Gomez also appears in a black and white photo in the singer’s Instagram story, as well as a video of him dancing. While this is not the first time that Gomez has appeared in Grande’s Instagram story, the birthday post marks the duo’s first official snapshot in their feed. According to TMZ, the two have been quarantined together for a few months.

Grande first confirmed her relationship with Gomez in the “Stuck With U” music video, her collaboration with Justin Bieber. As she spends much of the video serenading her beloved dogs, Grande can be seen dancing around the room with her new boyfriend toward the end of the music video.

While the relationship is fairly new, Grande and Gómez have known each other for quite some time, according to a report by E! News. “They run in the same circle,” a source told the publication in March. “He used to be a dancer and they have a lot of friends in common. She has quickly met him in his forties. They have spent a lot of time at home.” Gomez has also shared an Instagram story with fellow singer Miley Cyrus and a few other friends, according to TMZ, so it makes sense that they both run in the same social circle.

According to his real estate bio, Gomez is a Southern California native who is now a buyer’s agent for Aaron Kirman, a Los Angeles-based luxury real estate agent. Before that, he worked as COO for the Aaron Kirman Group. On Twitter, fans have also speculated that Gomez also helped Grande find his current home in Los Angeles, given his high-profile clientele. Whatever the case may be, Grande’s Instagram post with Gomez is the best birthday present for fans.
