With the Covid-19 epidemic still entering the flu season in the country, public health experts are urging Americans to get the flu vaccine – with some caution.
Doctors say getting a shot is as long as people follow protocol to prevent coronavirus exposure when it comes out.
Dr. Professor of Public Health at Hofstra University. Martin Hackett told The Post: “The only precaution you should take to get people to take a flu shot is when you run other essential tasks.”

“Make sure you’re wearing a mask when you go out and make sure you’re capable of social distance.”
Here’s what the experts have to say about the questions and concerns about being safe from COVID-19 shooting.
Can the flu vaccine lower your immune system and make you more susceptible to COVID-19?
Any suspicion of vaccination weakens the immune system and makes them more susceptible to virus infection, doctors said.
Westmead Medical Group’s infectious disease specialist Dr. “The immune system is being stimulated to make antibodies, so it’s a very different response,” said Sandra Cash.
Doctors also emphasize that the vaccine does not give the flu to anyone – and that the symptoms that can then pop up are the result of an overactive immune system.
Wonderbilt University School of Medicine Professor of Infectious Diseases Dr. “There’s still a belief that you’ll get the flu from the flu vaccine, which is a complete balloon,” said William Scheffner.
“Few people – about 1 percent – have a fever. It’s not the flu, the body is already working on the vaccine, “he said.
What happens if someone gets a flu shot while infected with Covid-19?
There is no evidence that those who inadvertently contracted the virus when they had the flu shot end up with a bad Covid-19 case, experts said.
Otherwise healthy patients suffer from mild colds and they still take the pill.
“It simply came to our notice then. We don’t even see people getting more cold. “Although it will be” taken “and effective when the patient’s immune system is weak,” Cash said, adding that doctors will not shoot.
Some believe that flu shots and other vaccinations could also potentially help eradicate coronavirus.
“If anything, there’s a theory that other vaccines actually stimulate your immune system and it’s better to fight the virus,” Schaffner said.
Schiffener noted that the theory has not been proven, but “there are flu vaccine tests to try to boost the unique immune system as a protection against the virus.”

Who should be vaccinated against the flu during the Covid-19 epidemic?
Months Everyone over the age of one should be vaccinated against the flu, including people over the age of 65 who are pregnant or have an underlying illness.
Experts noted that the shots will be important to help health care systems avoid being overwhelmed by flu patients, while also potentially conflicting with another wave of the virus.
“We should all meet [the flu shot] Because this year we will be dealing with the flu and covid and two diseases will be present clinically alike and the emphasis will be on doctors to find out what is. “
