Marshfield (CBS) – A brave young Marshfield boy, overwhelmed with excitement when he opened the Aquaman toy, had an even bigger surprise on Wednesday. Seven-year-old Danny Sheehan Festide with Jason Momoa, star of the movie “Aquaman”.
“Hi Aquaman,” said Danny. “I’m very excited.”
“Hi beautiful boy,” Momoa said with a smile. “I’m excited.”
Danny’s story reached the Hollywood star due to the reaction to the Aquaman action figure.
“Oh my God! My dear! I love Aquaman! “Danny yelled when he opened the present during a recent family photoshoot.
In January 2017, Danny was diagnosed with a very rare and invasive form of brain cancer, and leptomenegal disease, cancer of the cerebrospinal fluid.
Momoa called Danny on Wednesday and posted the video on his Instagram page. Momoa said, “I’ve been hearing about you from all your friends. And I want to call you and say hi and see how you are doing.”
Danny asked him questions about his sea adventures and showed him his Aquaman toy.
“I ride on dolphins and it’s a lot of fun,” Momoa said. “We should try it sometime.”
Momoa also said he would give Danny one of Aquaman’s tridents.
The GoFundMe page for Danny’s family has raised over $ 98,000.
