If you think your iPhone battery has been getting bad lately, you’re not alone.
A recent update to Apple’s iOS operating operating system is having a negative impact on the battery life of some users’ iPhones, according to a complaint found on Apple’s Developer Forums page.

The update, known as iOS 14.2, has resulted in devices having more time to fully charge and the products warming up during charging. The forum shows that a wide range of iPhones as well as some iPads are affected.

One commenter says that the battery seems to run low when users are texting others, “My battery dropped from 75% to 25% during my 40m iMessage support conversation. I didn’t come across this a week ago.”
