If you’ve noticed that you’re receiving SMS texts and eMessages from people but aren’t receiving any notifications about them, you’re not alone. It’s far away. I’m one of many people experiencing an annoying bug where messages come in fine – but without a pop-up notification or even a normal red badge indicating that someone is waiting to read a new message.
Last month, MCummers Written about the growing reports of the problem on the new iPhone 12, 12 Mini, 12 Pro, and 12 Pro Max phones. And if you’re hoping that when iOS 14.3 is released next week, everything will be fine. Preliminary reports indicate that a no-text-suggestions bug is present – at least in some cases – in the second release candidate build of iOS 14.3 that Apple Play passed to public beta testers yesterday.
Edge Apple has reached out to Paul for more information on the status of this bug and the company’s plans to fix it.
