Of course, Apple is now in the fifth version of its Watch series, making the older 3 Series a cheap option for those who buy a smart watch. It lacks some of the newer features in the Series, such as ECG measurement, drop detection, and an always-on display, but everything you need is there. If anything, most of our complaints (of which there were few) stemmed from Series 3 LTE support. If you are looking for a decent smart watch, you could do much worse than the Apple Watch Series 3, especially at this price. Sure, the 5 Series offers newer, more sophisticated features, but if you just need the basics, packaged in a lightweight and attractive design, that all-time low offering might just be right for you.
