Apple Pull makes it easier for developers to get new ones or win back old subscribers with discounts or free disc fur. The tech giant has announced that it will give developers access to a feature called er fur codes, which it describes as “unique, alphanumeric codes that provide free or discounted prices for auto-renewable subscriptions.” Developers will be able to distribute one-time codes either online or offline – for example, they can give them via email blasts or give them at events.
The company will allow new, existing and previous subscribers to redeem the code based on the developer’s customer suitability. Customers can redeem only one code per offer fur, but they can fur 10 active offers for their account at any one time. The codes will give customers access to free or discounted subscriptions, giving app developers a way to take an interest in their services, benefiting Apple’s business in the long run. It takes a 30 percent cut for subscription sales in the next first subscription year, and a 15 percent commission for all subsequent years that the user is a subscriber.
