Apple releases third public beta of watchOS 7

After the first public Apple Watch beta software was released earlier this month, the third beta is now available to public watchOS 7 testers. It’s just a day after Apple released the latest betaOS for developer of watchOS 7.

If you are subscribed to the watchOS 7 public beta, you can find the update by going to the Watch app on your iPhone> General> Software Update. Keep checking again if you do not see beta 3 immediately as it exits for everyone in the program.

The public beta 3 for watchOS 7 follows the developer beta 6 was released yesterday alongside iOS 14 beta 6. Notably, Apple has moved to weekly beta releases at this point.

watchOS 7 brings remarkable new features such as sleep tracking, sharing watch faces, tracking for new types of workouts, handwashing detection, and more.

If you have not yet tried and want the public beta, we have a detailed overview here, please note that after installing watchOS 6 you can not upgrade to watchOS 6. Learn more about watchOS 7 with the following guides:
